The Evidence Officer for the Lovejoy Police Department is responsible for managing all evidence seized by the Department. The officer must ensure that all evidence is handled properly according to State law and policy. This includes the packaging, sealing, and storage of all evidence.
The Evidence Officer is also responsible for maintaining all lost or found property turned into the Police Department.
