Welcome to the Lovejoy Community Center

The Lovejoy Community Center is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Center is located at 11622 Hastings Bridge Road in downtown Lovejoy.

• Enjoy our new state-of-the art playground suitable for children of all sizes. Our outdoor pavilion and neighboring walking trail and basketball courts are open to the public daily. The Center offers a variety of rental spaces for events ranging in size from 80 to 150 guests.  The Suites at Hastings are located directly across from the Center and are also available for rental through the Community Center.
• Also available to the public daily is the computer lab with 8 stations. Computers are equipped with Microsoft Office and Internet connection. Students may use the computer lab; however, anyone under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult.
• Senior Citizens are invited to enjoy a wide range of activities at the Center including senior trips, a monthly senior breakfast, BINGO, and Inspirational Hours.
• Senior Groups meet to play cards, for arts and crafts, and more. Stop by to connect with groups that may interest you.
• Senior Trips are an opportunity to mingle with fellow citizens of Lovejoy and surrounding areas and visit some of Georgia’s best attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium and Jimmy Carter National Historic Site.
• Senior Breakfast is held on the second Saturday of every month and is free to all Senior Citizens. Each breakfast features a guest speaker on a variety of issues Senior Citizens face. Topics may include health, insurance, safety, and much more. The breakfast is free for Lovejoy residents with a Lovejoy ID Card (available at the Lovejoy City Garden). Guests residing outside the City are welcome and may purchase tickets for a minimal fee of $3.00. Breakfast, coffee, and beverages are included.
• The Center is a place where the Citizens of Lovejoy meet with their respective Homeowners Association and Neighborhood Watch groups to discuss and provide solutions to the concerns of the Citizens. Spaces are provided based on availability and a reservation must be placed by calling (678)479-865.
• The Center also provides Notary, copy, printing, and faxing services for a small fee.
• The Center has an information table that provides the opportunity for local businesses to network and to inform the public of services offered. There are also several Job Postings for local companies.
• Community Center activities change on a daily basis. Quarterly events include Job Fairs and Health Fairs. Stop by to see what resources are available.
